Emerald Cruises Announces Luxury Yacht Cruises through April 2026
Including New Routes in Seychelles and Mediterranean
Drinks package now included on all sailings from April 2024
Emerald Cruises has unveiled a new collection of luxury yacht cruises through April 2026 aboard their twin, 100-guest Emerald Azzurra and Emerald Sakara luxury vessels, including a brand-new destination—the Indian Ocean and the tropical Seychelles. The upcoming season also features new ports of call and fresh itineraries in the Mediterranean, Adriatic, Red and Caribbean seas. Elevating the guest experience even further, guests joining either yacht from April 17, 2024 onward will now enjoy a complimentary drinks package with unlimited access to a range of cocktails, mocktails, premium wines, Prosecco and Champagne by the glass, bottled beer and soft drinks, as well as a mini-bar selection in each suite.
Scenic Group’s Managing Director for the US, Ken Muskat, commented, “The highly anticipated debut of Emerald Sakara last month represented a thrilling milestone for Emerald Cruises, effectively doubling our oceanic capacity. Our guests can now indulge in our exceptional luxury yacht experience encompassing an even broader selection of secluded ports and off-the-beaten-path harbors worldwide.”
A calendar detailing the sailing schedule for both yachts through April 2026 is available online. Bookings for 2024-2026 yacht sailings include two for one fares and the complimentary drinks package, as well as free air when paying in full within 30 days of booking, with free premium economy air available with bookings in top suites. Solo travelers can pay a single supplement as low as 25%. Emerald Cruises will hold a loyalty guest preview from September 11 to 13, and bookings will be open to the public starting September 14.
Highlights of the upcoming seasons include:
The Unspoiled Seychelles
New for winter 2024 and into 2025, Emerald Azzurra will take guests on a journey to the Seychelles, a vast Indian Ocean archipelago. Known for its pristine beaches, lush tropical rainforests, vibrant coral reefs, and dramatic granite rock formations, the Seychelles offers the opportunity for exploration and relaxation in equal measure. The eight-day Tropical Charms of the Seychelles itinerary, sailing round trip from Mahé, calls on eight islands, each with its own secret waiting to be uncovered. On the tiny island of Praslin, guests can visit the otherworldly Vallée de Mai reserve, a prehistoric palm forest where the colossal coco de mer nut grows wild. Cousin Island is an important nesting ground for sea turtles and extremely rare magpie robins; while La Digue Island, known for the towering granite boulders and aquamarine waters that flank the beaches, is the perfect island to explore by bicycle (conveniently available to guests at no extra cost). The first sailing departs on December 22, 2024.
Red Sea Antiquities
As she transits between the Indian Ocean and the Mediterranean, Emerald Azzurra will offer several sailings in the Red Sea. Calling on gateway ports in Jordan, Egypt, Israel and Saudi Arabia, these itineraries offer access to the most iconic destinations in the ancient world: Jordan’s hidden city of Petra and the sweeping Valley of the Moon, the Pyramids of Giza and Valley of the Kings in Egypt, and the sacred city of Jerusalem, to name a few. A variety of eight- to 12-day Red Sea sailings are available in December 2024, March, April, October and November 2025 and April 2026.
Coastlines and Islands of the Med and Adriatic
Another first for Emerald Cruises, 2024 finds both yachts spending the full summer season in the Mediterranean and Adriatic seas, creating an opportunity for Emerald Cruises to offer a wider range of itineraries in this beloved part of the world. A variety of new itineraries will call on the Western Mediterranean, including Emerald Sakara’s eight-day Yachting Gems of the French and Italian Rivieras between Nice and Barcelona, and the nine-day Coastal Spain and the Algarve between Barcelona and Lisbon. Favorite itineraries along Croatia’s stunning coastline, throughout the Greek isles, and Italy’s picturesque shores complete the region’s offerings.
Caribbean Island Yachting
Beginning this November, Emerald Sakara will spend the winters in the Caribbean, offering a one-of-a-kind yacht experience to guests looking to stay a little closer to home. Three distinct, eight-day itineraries call on a total of 22 ports in the Eastern Caribbean, Grenadines, Windward and Leeward Islands and provide a unique take on what it means to cruise in the Caribbean. Adventurers looking for a truly epic tropical vacation can combine the three, eight-day itineraries into a 15- or 22-day Hidden Treasures of the Caribbean sailing with no repeat ports.
Most Emerald Cruises yacht journeys in all regions are combinable, from two-weeks to 22-days, without repeating a port.
Emerald Cruises offers a diverse lineup of river and yacht cruises on four continents. Emerald Azzurra, the line’s first ocean-going vessel which debuted in March 2022, is a 100-guest, luxury yacht sailing the warm waters of the Mediterranean and Adriatic Seas, and new for the 2023/2024 season, the Caribbean and Central America. In November 2022, Emerald Azzurra was named Best New Luxury Ship in Cruise Critic’s 2022 Editors’ Picks Awards. Emerald Sakara, the brand’s second luxury yacht, launched in August 2023. On the rivers, Emerald Cruises sails eight branded Star-Ships in Europe and one on the Mekong. The brand offers innovatively-designed ships, outstanding service and a focus on active shore excursions and onboard wellness offerings through their signature EmeraldACTIVE program. Emerald Cruises is part of Scenic Group, which includes Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours, Mayflower Cruises & Tours and Evergreen Tours in Australia.
